The new edition of Innovation Day Energia will be held on November 21, 2024 at the Barcelona Activa Technology Park (C/ Marie Curie 8-14, Barcelona).

Innovation Day is the reference event in innovation in the energy sector organized by the Energy Research Institute of Catalonia (IREC), the Efficient Energy Cluster of Catalonia (CEEC) and the R+D+I Network Energy for Society (XRE4S), bringing together more than 150 industry professionals every year.

The conference aims to promote innovation in the energy sector and has the participation of large companies, researchers and start-ups through several round tables and different innovation forums, this year focused on the areas of sustainable building and energy storage.

It is a meeting point of the business world and research that allows to identify, promote and develop ideas transforming them into reality, and, at the same time, foster new opportunities for collaboration and consolidate the commitment of companies with innovation to jointly build a better future for the energy sector..

The call to present innovative technologies and products at the Innovation Forum is still open.

The call, aimed at start-ups and researchers, will give those chosen the opportunity to make a 5-minute presentation (type of pitch) in a day that is expected to be attended by more than 150 energy professionals from large companies , investment groups and research centers.

The technologies, products or solutions presented must be related to the following areas:

Research groups, their spin-offs and start-ups that wish to present their technology in the previously mentioned sectors must fill out the following form before October 31, providing the data indicated below as well as a brief description of the solution (maximum 1000 characters).

The proposals must be innovations in the field of energy focused on finding a technological partner or investor. From among the applications received, 3 or 4 innovations will be selected to present.
